Sean Geraghty, Longtime Westchester Resident, Dies At 55

Sean Geraghty, a longtime resident of Westchester, died on Sunday, Sept. 1 at the age of 55.

Originally from the village of Schrule in County Mayo, Ireland, Sean lived in Eastchester and was the beloved father of Conor, Kayla and Graham. He was formerly married to Brenda Nangle Geraghty.

In addition to being survived by many nieces and nephews, Sean was the dear brother of Tom (Ann) Geraghty, Mary (John) Murray, Claire (John) Carter, Carmel (Padraig) Consedine and Helen (Brendan) Halligan.

Sean’s family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home (190 Main Street in Eastchester) on Friday, Sept. 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church (53 Winter Hill Road in Tuckahoe) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.
